The Plura App was made by and for queer and LGBTQ+ people. Our community embraces the values of consent, communication, and respect, and celebrates all the possibilities of queer connection for all LGBTQ+ people and their allies.

Over 60% of Plura members identify as queer and/or on the LGBTQ+ spectrum and over 13% identify as transgender or gender non-conforming. We aim to be the safest virtual space for folks marginalized from conventional, heteronormative dating culture. Whether you're looking looking for queer friends, events, new lovers, or partners, the Plura is here for LGBTQ+ and queer folks of all identities and dating preferences.

Build Connections at Queer Events

Many of our event partners serve the LGBTQ+ community. From online naked dance parties to lesbian, gay, and bi/pan spectrum events, we collaborate with events that facilitate beautiful queer and LGBTQ+ connections along the spectrum.

Develop Budding LGBTQ+ Relationships

For folks in the queer and LGBTQ+ community, we know that relationships can be fluid — you might be friends first and partners later, or turn a one-night-stand into a lasting friendship. Here at Plura, we do not prescribe or presuppose what each connection between members will become. We call connections made in Plura "Buds" because we want to create the space for many types of connections to form organically. This leaves it up to the two (or more) consenting adults to determine what form their connection will take and what feels right to them. We encourage you to see your Buds as people first, and beyond that whatever comes authentically to you.

Not all queer relationships look the same. Many (but not all) LGBTQ+ people also identify as polyamorous, kinky, and and sex positive. We embrace the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and provide members with opportunities to connect with intersectional and overlapping communities that share our values.
